AIR SHOJI
The combination of shoji and a wire system allows installation in places that were previously not possible.
By hanging the shoji, the range of usage widens, and it could be used as partition, wall decoration, or lighting shade.
BOLD LINE
In the "Bold Line", the stile/crosspiece/kumiko muntin/lattice pieces have the same thickness and depth measurements. Also,
we’ve pursued simple and elegant detail by eliminating levels for flatness to blend seamlessly with the modern architecture.
-
GRID LARGE
The standard square grid design fits any space. -
DIAMOND
Design with a sharp impression, expressing beautiful lines that diagonally intersect at 45-degree angles. -
STRIPE
A simple stripe design that could be rotated vertically and horizontally for enjoying arrangements. -
SLASH BOLD
A simple diagonal pattern that can produce various expressions by rotating. -
MULTI STRIPE
The combination of vertical and horizontal stripes creates a pleasing movement in your space. -
LEAF
A natural and warm design representing plants with random diagonal lines.
SLIM LINE
For the Slim Line, we aspired to present the elegance of kumiko/lattice and used a thinner wood
of 6mm rather than the conventional 8mm used on common shoji screens.
Shoji that maximizes the delicate technique of latticework will pleasantly decorate the space.
-
RHYTHM
Adds rhythm in the space by having stripes in a steppingstone like manner in the lattice. -
STRING
A design that presents a dignified atmosphere where a web of delicate lines boldly intersects. -
SOUND
Delicate and glamorous design with squares overlapping like the reverberations of a sound. -
BASKET
Seamlessly fits into a warm space with the motif of a woven basket. -
GRADATION SMALL
Creates depth in the space with beautiful delicate shadows. -
MOON
A classic shoji design while capturing modern taste will accentuates the space. -
ARGYLE
A pattern developed from an Argyle pattern will create an elegant atmosphere. -
CORNER RANDOM
It is designed with asymmetrically intersecting lines, which could be rotated for changing placement.
COLLABORATION LINE
The “Collaboration Line” is literally a collaborative project b etween the technology of KITOTE and the expression of an artist . The first in this line is the joint-work with an artist of Plotter Drawing t echnique, Mr. Hiromasa Fukaji.
A group of work we call the “Kei “ series depicts images of the outside world seen through shoji screens from the inside.
The shoji screen is regarded as the boundary between the inner world and the outer world, and an abstract image of “nature” is projected.
*For customers who use multiple pieces, we have other patterns specifically for repeat use. Please inquire us for details.

“Kei”with raindrops falling vertically straight from top to bottom -
景二 Keini
“Kei”displaying reflection and translucency produced by discontinuous surface layer. -
景三 Keisan
“Kei”with overlapping and intersecting flow and curvature. -
景四 Keishi
“Kei” expressing order by its vertical pillars. -
景五 Keigo
“Kei”depicting organically surging mist with irregularity.
FUKAJI HIROMASACOLLABORATION ARTIST
Designer, Artist.Born in Osaka in 1990 and graduated from the Design Course of Kyoto Institute of Technology Graduate School in 2015. He is conducting research and proposals on expressions born at the boundary between digital and physical from the designer's point of view , including representative work “Plotter Drawing”which shows the possibility that machines produce art. He has received numerous awards such as, One Show/Gold, CANNES LIONS/Silver, NY ADC Awards/Silver, D & AD wards/Wood Pencil, among others.
